It's Monday night in Valladolid. And I'm posting because I've been a bad blogger. Sorry everyone!

I used the vosotros form today! I have no idea if I used it correctly, but Mary and I were looking for bars/cafes (almost the same thing here) to study in at you know, 10:30 on a Monday night, asking when various places closed. So I asked a group of people if they knew when the bar closed and we had a mini-conversation all in Spanish! Yay! I'm still getting used to studying. I haven't been in school for 4 months, so it's hard to get into it again, but here we are studying at a café yesterday:
Left to right: Amy, Dylan, JJ, Sam, Chris, Mary, Savannah, and some weirdo who jumped into the picture.
We have class every morning starting at 9:30 at the language center, which is about a 25 minute walk from our house. We have language for either 2 or 3 hours depending on the day, and then an hour of culture class on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I really really enjoy my Spanish classes, but I have to be on all the time to understand what our profesora is saying, and so by the time I get to culture class, my brain is really tired.

Then we walk home for comida y siesta and studying or whatever.

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday we also have class in the afternoon, starting at 6 and going to 8 or 9. These are our Cal Poly classes, in English thankfully, but with by far more homework. I have two essays to write this week and an extra one to finish that's due on Monday because I'm going away for the weekend. However, our profesor is interesting and is not afraid to let class out early!

Unfortunately I don't have many pictures as of now because I spilled water on my camera and it's now sitting in a bag of rice. Hopefully it will be back in commission before I go to San Sebastian this weekend!
